Pauli Crystal Superradiance
Pauli crystals are geometric many-body correlations that emerge in noninteracting fermions solely from Fermi statistics and confinement. In this seminar, I will discuss how these hidden correlations can become observable when a confined fermionic system is coupled to an optical cavity. The confinement geometry fixes the degeneracies and transformation properties of the many-body eigenstates, allowing cavity-mediated interactions to select symmetry-breaking superpositions. his leads to a zero-threshold transition to superradiance and the emergence of a genuine quantum crystalline state with periodically modulated density. These analytical results are substantiated by many-body simulations, highlighting a route from Pauli correlations to observable quantum crystallization through the interplay of statistics, geometry, and light-mediated interactions.
